EDGERTON - Vera I. Farrington, age 82, died Wednesday at the Nazareth House in Stoughton. She was born Dec. 10, 1904 in Edgerton, where she had been a lifelong resident of the Edgerton area. She was the daughter of Harry and Margaret (Horton) Langworthy. She marries Allen Farrington on June 20, 1928 in Janesville. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and St. Rose Society. She was also a member of the Retired Teachers Association and the Janesville Business Professional Women's Club. She graduated from Milwaukee Normal School. She taught in the Hudson and Evansville school systems.

She is survived by three sons, Robert (Donna) of West Allis, Allen Jr. (Ellen) of Edgerton and Wayne (Loretta) also of Edgerton; 3 daughters, Mary (Roger) Rucks of Edgerton, Jeanne Doran of Monona, and Carol (John) Winner of McFarland; 1 sister, Jeanette Kleimenhagen; 16 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1967 and sister, Emma Affeldt.

Funeral services will be Saturday, June 13, 1987 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Edgerton. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
