James Coyle, Private Co. F, 13th New Jersey. Died of consumption at Frederick, MD on January 12, 1863. Born in Ireland, he was 23 years old when he enlisted with the 13th at Newark, NJ on August 12, 1862.

Originally buried in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frederick, Maryland, and then moved to the National Cemetery. (See image of the newspaper clipping from The Examiner dated Jan. 28, 1863.)
