Willie Amburgey of Premium, passed away, Monday, April 24, 2006 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Health Care Center. Willie was the son of the late Manuel and Laurel Crase Amburgey. He was born January 24, 1920 being 86 years and 3 months of age at the time of his passing. Surviving are his wife Lillian Caudill Amburgey; two sons, Donnie Amburgey of Louisvllle and Ronnie Amburgey of Carlisle; two brothers; Owen Amburgey of Jeremiah and Neweral Amburgey of Taylorsville; three sisters; Cleda Caudill of Premium, Ida Hall of Nicholasville, and Sally Hampton of Louisville; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Willie was preceeded in death by a son Ernest Gay; three brothers; Benjamin, Teddy Dean and Orel; and two sisters: Orpha Bryant and Bernice Adams. Funeral services for Willie Amburgey were conducted, Thursday, April 27, 2006, from Letcher Funeral Home with Claren Wlliams, Haston Whitaker, and Murl Caudill officiating. Concluding service at Whitaker Cemetery, Premium, KY.
