Bertha's 2nd marriage to Samuel Hare His first marriage to Mary E. Donovan ðied in auto accident leaving him with ⁵ children to raise.

Mary's father Patrick Donovan is brother to Anna Donovan Truesdell Gentile. Patrick is grandfather to 5 children. Making Bertha cousin to the children!
