Mrs. Neel was born Jan 20, 1892 in Corinth, Mississippi. She moved to Texas as a child and attended Elm Mott schools. She married W. D. Neel April 7, 1914 in Waco. He died May 27, 1970.
Mrs. Neel was a member of Woodmen of the World and was employed by JR Watkins Co. She was a member of Western Heights Baptist Church.
Survivors, three daughters, Mildred Moran and Virginia Shaw, both of Waco, and Dorothy Fick of Dallas; three sons, Alfred Neel of West, Clovis Neel of Waco and Boyd Neel of Ft Worth; sister Vera Rains of Waco; numerous grandchildren.
