Mrs. Maudie Adkins, 96, of Fonde, Ky., died at 5 p.m. Saturday, January 8 at the Appalachian Regional Hospital in Middlesboro, Ky.

Survivors include her five sons, Everett Adkins of Fonde, Ky., Buster Adkins of Warminister, Pa., Bud Adkins of Cincinnati, Ohio, Duggin Adkins of Dayton, Ohio, Ray Adkins of Indianapolis, Ind.; one daughter, Miss Beulah Adkins of Pruden; two brothers, James Yount and John H. Yount, both of Cincinnait, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Thelma of Conchohocken, Pa., Mrs. Naoma Harmons of Paintsville, Ky.; 24 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Ellison Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Lee Daugherty. Burial in Douglas Cemetery.

Ellison Funeral Home of Jellico was in charge of arrangements.
