Funeral services for Mrs. Jessie L. Emmons, 81. of 164 Millwood St., Caro, were conducted Monday at the Collon Funeral Home, Caro, with Rev. Paul Cargo officiating. Burial was In the Ellington Cemetery. Mrs. Emmons died Friday at the Tuscola County
Medical Care Facility after a six-month illness She was born July 19, 1885, in Ellington Township and was a member of the Caro Methodist Church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. She married Norman Emmons in Ellington Township on June 10, 1903. He died in 1922 Surviving are two daughters and three sons; Mrs. Kenneth (Sophia) Raymond, Mrs. Kenneth (Sophia) Raymond, Mrs. Geo. (Norma) Colby, both of Caro: Chester of Kalamazoo, Erssel and Leo, both of Caro; one sister, Mrs. Nettle Rose of Caro; 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
