Mrs. Whittle was born in Union County to the late Charlie and Pearlie Dees Croft. She lived in Florida for most of her life before moving to Franklin eight years ago.
Mrs. Croft was the widow of the late W.O. Whittle. She was of the Baptist faith and was a homemaker.
She is survived by: a son, Curtis Whittle of Franklin; daughters, Joy Whittle and Maxine Dosier, both of Keystone Heights; a step-daughter, Nadine Pierce of Lineville, Ala.; two sisters, Linda Stafford of Brooksville and Lula Mae Alverez of Madison; brothers, Larry Croft of Jacksonville and Wallace Croft of Lake Butler; and several grandchildren.
Memorial services for Mrs. Whittle will be held Sunday, July 7, at 1 p.m. at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Lake Butler.
Arrangements are under the care of Archer Funeral Home of Lake Butler.
