Frank R. Lerew, 89, of Dillsburg RD #2, died Sunday at his home.
He was a retired fruit grower and a 75 year member of the Chestnut Grove UM Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Clara M. Lerew; three sons, Frank R. Jr. of Shippensburg, Lloyd M. of Dillsburg RD #2 and Vernon R. of Dover, PA; two daughters, Mrs Paul Sealover and Mrs Lloyd McClure, both of Dillsburg; two sisters, Mrs. Grace Howard, of Baltimore, MD and Mrs. Ethel Detter of Wellsville, PA, 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home at 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg (Cocklin's Funeral Home) with the Rev. David McCullough, his pastor assisted by the Rev. J. Albert Cook, retired Church of the Brethren minister, officiating. Burial will be in Dillsburg Cemetery. There will be no viewing.
In addition; he entered this life on October 1, 1885 and Departed this life October 6, 1974 at the age of 89 years 5 days. Services were held Thursday Oct. 10, 1974.
