Major League Baseball Player. Born Stephen Bernard Mingori in Kansas City, Missouri, he was a relief pitcher for ten seasons (1970 to 1979) with the Cleveland Indians and Kansas City Royals. After attending Pittsburg State University in Kansas, Mingori made his big league debut on August 5, 1970 with Cleveland. He appeared in seven total post season games with Kansas City during the 1976, 1977 and 1978 American League Championship Series. In 385 career regular season games, he won 18 and lost 33 with a 3.03 lifetime ERA.
