Lena (Pustizzi) Buffa, 94, passed away Sunday, July 6, 2008, at home surrounded by her family.

Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., to the late Carmello and Josephine (Garilli) Pustizzi, she was an area resident most of her life. Lena worked with her late husband, Carlo, on the family farm and for Model Coat Company for many years. She was a member of Queen of Angels Parish at Our Lady of Victories Church and the Amalgamated Clothing Workers Union. Lena was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking and was famous for her delicious meatballs. She loved her family and her biggest pleasure was spending time with them.

Lena is survived by her daughter, Joyce and husband Louis Murray of Vineland; son, Joseph and wife Beth Buffa of Somers Point; brother, Joseph Pustizzi of Buena; sister-in-law, Lena Pustizzi of Vineland; grandchildren, Michael and Karen Murray, Michele Grochowski, David Murray and Suzanne Dorrell, Angela and Mike Hiller, and Anthony Buffa; and great-grandchildren, Tory Grochowski, Lexi Grochowski and Mason Murray.

She was predeceased by her husband, Carlo Buffa in 1989.

Funeral home visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Rone Funeral Service. A church visitation will be 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday followed by the funeral liturgy at 10:30 a.m. at Queen of Angels Parish at Our Lady of Victories Church, 202 N. West Blvd., Landisville.

Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland.

Arrangements are under the supervision of Rone Funeral Service, Vineland.
