HOWARD-Raymond Gardner,48, a resident of Bellefonte R.D.1, died yesterday at 2 pm at the Centre Co Hospital after an illness of three weeks.
Born here August 13,1891, he was the son of the late James and Lonnie Packer Gardner. He is survived by his wife, Helen Gault Gardner, and 11 sons and daughters: Henry,Lloyd and Mrs Mabel Losch of Bellefonte;Clair and Mrs Lillian James, Beech Creek, Mrs Meriam Grub,Howard;and Ralph,Ellen,Jean,and Richard at home.Also by the following brothers and sisters:Mrs Jacob Confer and Mrs Tamson Packer,Orviston;Mrs Rolland Butler, Mill Hall,RD;Mrs Grace Mann and Mrs Ferris Walker, Howard.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2pm at the Neff Funeral Home, followed by services at 2:30 o'clock at the High Church at Summit Hill, the Rev. Mr Baird officiating. Burial will be made in the Highland Cemetery near the church.The body may be viewed at the funeral home.
