Crash Victim Rites Set on Wednesday
SHOSHONE, Nov. 11—Funeral services for Mrs. Kristine Sorensen Alger will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Shoshone LDS church by Bishop J. O. Stlmpson. Final rites are set at Shoshone cemetery.
Mrs. Alger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. T. Sorensen, Shoshone, was killed in a one-car accident Saturday 29 miles south of Wells, Nev. David Alger, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. Alger, Twin Falls, driver of the car, and his daughter, Sandra, 3, remained in Elko county hospital where they were taken after the accident. Raymond Alger, 2, also Injured in the accident, was taken from Elko county hospital to Twin Falls Saturday by his paternal grandparents. It was reported Alger was In the hospital with a broken back and his daughter had a broken arm. The son had only minor cuts. It also was reported Alger, who had been visiting relatives in Magic alley, apparently fell asleep and drove off the road. After the accident, Alger tried to put out a small fire and was assisted by another driver, Clyde E. Bussey, Hilger, Mont., who then took the two children to the hospital. Alger remained with his wife until an ambulance from Burns funeral home arrived at the scene.
Mrs. Alger's body was taken to Shoshone from Wells by Bergin funeral home ambulance.
Friends may call at Bergin funeral chapel, Shoshone, Tuesday and until 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.
