Eudes was bedridden most of her life with crippling arthritis in her legs and hands. However, she had the uncanny talent to crochet the most intricate, and professional, and exquisite table cloths and napkins. Many family members still have some of her wonderful work.
The photo on this page shows Eudes standing as a young girl about 17 years old. She held the pose with braces for only a moment and was then returned to the wheel chair she used most of the time.
When her mother was sick in the hospital in October 1953, she was unaware. However, Nessie (her mother) said that if she were to die first, she would take Eudes with her so she could be sure she would be cared for. Nessie died on October 20, 1953 and Eudes took sick that week and died on October 25, 1953. That was a very sad week for the Weinreich family.
