Charles Edward Birely died at the home of his grandmother, Mrs. Daniel Fry, of Homer's Gap at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon of pneumonia. He was born on February 26, 1895, the son of Harry Birely and Emma Fry, of 229 Willow avenue, who survive with three brothers: Paul D., John W. and Robert, of this city. He was a member of the Fourth Lutheran church. The funeral will be private Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home of the grandmother in Homer's Gap. Interment will be made in Fairview cemetery.
