Leo had lived in Grace, Idaho and Utah. He worked for Utah Power for 31 years, working at Oneida Plant for five years, the Goshan Sub-station for five years, and at the Cutler Dam for 21 years. Following retirement he lived in Preston for 12 years and has resided in Tremonton for the past seven years.
He was a member of the Preston Kiwanis Club, where he served as president. Leo was an avid fisherman and hunter. He enjoyed leatherwork and carpentry. He could fix anything.
He was High Priest in the Tremonton First LDS Ward and served in the past as a member of the Beaver Dam ward bishopric, home teacher, scout leader, and with his wife served as ward greeters in the Preston Third Ward for 11 years.
Surviving are his wife of Tremonton and four children, Marli Gaye (Dale) Nebeker, Bountiful, Stephen L. Larsen, Turlock, Calif., Julie L. (Jeff) Wood, Fielding, Kathy (Lyle) Holmgren, Tremonton; 18 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Eleven brothers and sisters preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 10, 2000, at the Tremonton First Ward Chapel, 166 N. Tremont Street with Bishop Lyle Vance officiating. Friends may call on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 N. 1st E., Tremonton. Burial will be in the Beaver Dam Cemetery.
