Robert B Boone Dies Monday.
Robert B Boone died late Monday evening in the Vicksburg Convalescent Home. He was 85.
He was a lifelong resident of Vicksburg and was a retired employee of Houston Brothers. He was a member of the Oak Ridge Christian Church.
He is survived by three daughters: Mrs. Nancy Ruth Puckett of Terry, Mrs. Margie Williams of Yazoo City, Mrs Frances Simpson of Morton; six sons: Robert Boone and Floyd Boone both of Jackson, Thomas Boone of Simmesport, LA, David Boone and Billy Boone both of Vicksburg and Joe Boone of Florence, one sister Mrs. Frances Moore of Flowood, 28 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the Glenwood Burial Chapel with the Rev. Perry Simpson officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. today.
Sons of the deceased will be pallbearers.
