Amos Blake was the son of Gibson Blake. His family was from Canada. Amos married 3 times. He married his first wife, Sarah Jane Knapp, daughter of Nathan and Betsey Jane Magoon Knapp on Oct. 11, 1873. She and Amos had one son together whom they named Carl L. Blake. After 11 short years of marriage at the age of 32 yrs 5 mo 26 da, Sarah Jane, "Jenny" Knapp Blake died, in 1884. She is buried in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery in St. Johnsbury, VT.
Sometime after Jennie died, Amos married a woman named Matilda "Til" Nelson. Not much is known about her except what it says on the headstone. She died on April 10, 1901 at the age of 44 yrs and 11 mo.
In 1902, Amos married Naomi Elliot Perrin Cairn. She brought with her a son, Carroll M. Perrin, who was about 17 years old at the time. Naomi and Amos had a child together named Goldie Mae Blake.
Carroll Perrin died on August 1, 1907 at 22 years old. He is buried with Amos, Naomi and Matilda.
Naomi Elliot Perrin Cairn Blake died in 1952.
