She died at 5:13 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, 2002 in the Eastview Terrace Nursing Home in Sullivan.
Mrs. McClure was born Feb. 15, 1907 in Kentucky, the daughter of Bruce and Joan Botts England. Alma was retired from the Brown Shoe Co. and was a member of the Sullivan Pentecostal Church. She married Owen McClure in 1931, and he preceded her in death Nov. 5, 1982.
Survivors include daughters, Barbara Gaddis and her husband Jack of Mattoon, Cleo Puyear and her husband Bill of Dalton City and Beverly Sweetland and her husband Gary of Fairfield, Ohio; brother, Raymond England and his wife Helen of Sullivan; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, four sisters and one grandson.
Memorials are suggested to the Eastview Terrace Nursing Home or to the donor's choice.
