PFC Frederick Thomas served with the 22nd Infantry Regiment, 4th Division. He Landed at Utah Beach, fought through Belgium and Luxembourg, the Battle of the Bulge, then was killed in action when the 22nd was facing heavy resistance at the Prum River crossing.
