William Miley, G-1482 Alberta, Burton, Michigan, age 66, died Monday, February 15, 1960 at the residence. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 17th, from the Hopewell Baptist Church, Rev. Esco Malin officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Miley will remain at the Reigle Funeral Home, until 11 a.m. Wednesday, then will be taken to the church to lie in state until time of service. Mr. Miley was born in Sikeston, Missouri, September 2, 1893 and lived in Flint since 1948. He was a member of the Hopewell General Baptist Church. He operated Mileys Service Station at Court and Hazelton from 1949 until his retirement in 1958, and also had been a school traffic officer at Dort and Lippincott. Surviving are: wife: Nora and son of Birmingham, Michigan; brother Harley Miley of Mount Morris, and sister, Mrs. Theld Harris of California. (From the Flint Journal Newspaper, Flint Michigan.)
