This was my Maternal Grandmother, She died so young, just 26 years old. My mother was 5 years old when her mother died. She died in Hotel Dieu Hospital in childbirth. I learned many stories about her from my Great-grandmother Annie. She told me Louise had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to make everyone laugh.
It was also well known that she loved to change the furniture in her home. My Grandfather was a "railroad man" and was often, gone for a week at a time. When he would come home and open the front door he would jump back and say, "oh my, I'm in the wrong house!"
I wish I had known her... My Mother's life would have been so different if she had lived.
