Immigrated to US from Canada and was natualized in 1876.
A native of Canada, resided in Lewiston for several years before coming to Rumford. She moved to Rumford in 1917 and lived at 341 Franklin Street with her daughter and son-in-law, Clara and Dominic Casavant. Charles, her husband, died in 1911. He was a well known Lewiston contractor who erected a number of buildings in the Lewiston, Maine area.

Obituary from the March 24, 1927 edition of the Rumford Falls Time:

The death of Mrs. Victorise Lemieux, a resident of Rumford for ten years, occurred last Thursday of last week at 10:00 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Dominic Casavant of 341 Franklin Street.

The deceased had been in frail health following a shock in July of 1926. Her age was 72. Mrs. Lemieux was a native of Canada but had resided in Lewiston for a long period of years before coming to Rumford. Her husband, Charles Lemieux, who's death occurred about 15 years ago, was a well known Lewiston contractor and also erected a number of buildings here (Rumford). Surviving are two sons; William of Rumford and Alfred of Boston; four daughters, Mrs. Clara Casavant, Mrs. John Harpe, Mrs. Henry Thorpe (Alice), of Auburn, and Mrs. Marion Trembley of New York; one brother, Honora Deshais of Canada and several grandchildren.

Funeral services were held from St. John Church at 1:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon. The Reverend Father P. Boivin, officiating. All the children came for the service as did Edwin and David Lemieux, Mrs. Ernest Roy, and Jean Charles Boucher of Lewiston, and Eva Trembly, a granddaughter from New York. The body was taken Saturday afternoon in Lewiston where burial was made in the family lot in the Catholic cemetery. (Ed. note: St. Peter and Paul Cemetery)

Victoria and Charles's children, Joseph Adelard died July 20, 1878, Exilia, June 20, 1880, Onesime, August 5, 1881, Joseph Ulderic, September 28, 1883, Rose Anna, April 7, 1888. They are buried at St. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Lewiston, Maine. Charles Jr. died June 25, 1924, in Fall River, MA, Alfred, Boston, MA, Marie Ann Trebley, April 4, 1966, NYC, Clara Casavant, December 1, 1944, NYC, Eva Marie Harpe, Septemer 20, 1966, Rumford, Maine, Alice Julia Thorpe, December 24, 1928, Auburn, Maine, William Joseph Lemieux, October 22, 1969, Clayville, NY.
