GEORGE HENRY HELSEL March 26, 1900 – November 8, 1952

Of Carson Valley died unexpectedly of a heart attack at 10.20 o'clock at his home. He was born March 26, 1900, at Langdondale, Bedford county, a son of James E. and Mary Ann "Minnie" (Browell) Helsel and was married to Olive Brubaker in the twenty-eighth Street Church of the Brethren by Rev. B. F. Waltz.
Surviving are the widow and the following children: Mrs. Charles Hoffman and Carl of Altoona, Mrs. Roy Stevens of Bridgeton, N. J., Mrs. Merle Kaufman and Richard, at home; four grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Hileman Imler of Hollidaysburg, Roy, Edward, and Mrs. Denis Simmers of Altoona, Clarence, Ellsworth, Mrs. Brice Hoover and Mrs. Russell Clapper, all of Carson Valley and Mrs. Frank Brubaker of Penn Run, Indiana county.
He was a member of Carson Valley Church of the Brethren and of the B. of R. T. He was a conductor for the Pennsylvania Railroad.
Friends are being received at the Liebegott funeral home, Duncansville.
