Mrs. Lucinda Phillips, a colored resident of this city for many years, died last night at her home, 623 West Twentieth street, at the age of 92 years. Death resulted from pneumonia.
Mrs. Phillips was a mother-in-law of Charles Lucas, who died Sunday morning in the same home. The funeral of Lucas was held yesterday but the remains are being held at Early’s chapel and will be interred tomorrow afternoon at 2 o’clock along with the remains of Mrs. Phillips.
