From the San Antonio Evening News, dated 11/1/1919. Mrs Sophie Ackermann, aged 64 years, died at 2:00AM this morning at her residence, 800 Lamar Street. She was a native of Boerne, Texas, but had resided in San Antonio for the past 26 years. Surviving are her husband F. C. Ackermann, two sons, John F and Franklin C Ackermann, three daughters, Mrs Rosie Matadorf, Mrs Lena Graf and Mrs Katie Graf, all of San Antonio; four brothers, William, Fred, Charles & Louis Helligman, also of San Antonio, and two sisters, Mrs Minnie Bodeman of this city, and Mrs Emma Neumeier of Mexico. The funeral will take place on Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the residence. Services will be conducted by Rev Rode of St John's Lutheran Church. Interment will be made in Hermann Sons Cemetery.
