Mrs Elizabeth M Wagner, 71, Easton, died early Thursday at St. John Hospital. Death was unexpected.
She was born March 11, 1896 in Jefferson county the daughter of John and Anna Mathias Ernsen. On June 4, 1920 she was married in St. John's Church in Beloit to Nicholas P. Wagner. They have made their home in the Easton community since 1920.
She was a member of St. Lawrence Church and the Altar society.
She is survived by her husband, Nicholas P Wagner of the home; two daughters, Mrs Eugene (Cecelia) Beying and Mrs. Erwin (Aurelia) Brown and one son, Eugene Wagner, all of Easton; 11 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Lawrence Church in Easton. Rev. Patrick Fitzgerald, pastor, will officiate. Friends and member of the Parish will recite the Rosary Sunday evening at 8 p.m. at the Sumpter Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery, Easton. Friends may call at the Chapel after 10 a.m. Friday.
