LINCOLNTON, Ga. - Mrs. Vera Goolsby Conerly, 82, a resident of Lake Crossing Health Care, entered into rest on Wednesday, May 2, 2007 at Wills Memorial Hospital, Washington. Mrs. Conerly was the daughter of the late I.C. Goolsby and the late Mozell Myers Goolsby. She was a homemaker and formally resided at 2947 Hwy 220 East. Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 5, 2007 at New Hope Church Cemetery with the Rev. Gary Hillman officiating. Survivors include two sisters, Harriet Wells and Helen Bell, both of Greenwood, S.C. Mrs. Conerly was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Alfred Conerly. Rees Funeral Home, 195 Peachtree St., Lincolnton, Ga., (706) 359- 3222, is in charge of arrangements.
