Mrs. Winifred Agnew, a resident of Elm Avenue, Millerton, died Friday, July 31, at Sharon Hospital after a brief illness. She was the daughter of the late Emmett and Catherine Rockefeller Wheeler. She was a lifelong resident of Millerton and was a member of the Millerton Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her husband; a son, Clifford Agnew; a daughter, Mrs. Marion Hoyt, both of Millerton; two granddaughters, Mrs. Carol Freddo, Canaan, and Holley Agnew, Bay Shore; and a brother, Clifford Wheeler, Millerton. Funeral services were conducted Monday, August 3, at the Valentine Funeral Home, Millerton, with the Rev. Harry Robinson, of the Millerton
