BUHL—Ingeborg Kamrud Eriksen, 93, our loved and cherished mother and grandmother, took the Lord's hand and found eternal peace on Feb. 17, 2005.

She was born on Jan. 4, 1912, to Torstein and Anna Kamrud in Bottineau, N.D. Her family returned to Norway, where she spent her early childhood years. Her parents returned to America and she attended school in Canada and later in Montana.

Ingeborg married Snorre Eriksen on Oct. 18, 1930, in Plenty Wood, Montana. In 1932, they moved to Idaho. Together they raised five children on their farm in Buhl. They celebrated their 61st anniversary prior to his death in 1991.

Ingeborg spent her time cooking, sewing and giving loving care to her family and continued sharing her love with her grandchildren. She instilled in all her children and grandchildren a deep love and respect for the culture and traditions of her and Snorre's native land of Norway. They returned together to visit family in Norway many times.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Buhl and the Northview Ladies Club.

She is survived by one son, Albert L. Patricia Eriksen of Buhl; four daughters, Betty J Cobb of Buhl, Martha A. Jack Shaver of Pocatello, Norma Robert Blass of Filer and Eileen Al Tetz of Pocatello; 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Ingeborg was preceded in death by her husband, Snorre; her parents, five sisters, one brother, a grandson, a great-grandson and a great-granddaughter.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in memory of Ingeborg, to the charity of your choice. A funeral will be held at noon Monday, Feb. 21, 2005, at Farmer Funeral Chapel with Pastor Mark Latham officiating. A graveside service will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Family and friends may call from 6 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 20, 2005, at the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Farmer Funeral Chapel in Buhl, Idaho.
