PFREHM, Oveta Price Passed from this life to eternity with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 5, 2008. Oveta was the beloved wife of Ralph Henry Pfrehm, who preceded her in death in 1990. She was the mother of five children, grandmother to seven, and great-grandmother to five. Oveta was born to Columbus Harvey and Alta Jones Price in 1928, and grew up in Oklahoma, Texas, and the Pacific Northwest. She married Ralph Pfrehm in Oregon in 1948, and served faithfully at his side during his pastoral and teaching ministries until the time of his death. Oveta was a retired Licensed Vocational Nurse, and held an Associate of Arts Degree from Antelope Valley College. Oveta will be remembered for her smile, compassion, and deep love of the Lord. She participated enthusiastically with Ralph during his ministry at a number of churches in Oregon, Idaho, and California. Their time at Roosevelt Community Church of Lancaster was particularly precious to them, and they formed many friendships in the greater Lancaster community. During her later years, Oveta treasured studying the Bible and enjoyed listening to gospel music. Interment will be at Joshua Memorial Park in Lancaster and a memorial service for Oveta will be held later in the fall.The family suggests memorials in Ovetas name to Wycliff Bible Translators, P.O.
