Willis "Eddie" Winchester, 64 years old, died Saturday, May 7, 2005, at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville.

Born Dec. 3, 1940 in Malvane, Kansas to Willis William and Ruth Eileene Nicholson Winchester. Raised in southern Oklahoma and in the Texas Panhandle, he followed in his fathers footsteps as a wheat farmer.

His dreams as a child as a small child were to be a truck driver and at the age of 14, he obtained his first CDL drivers license and drove grain trucks. Later he started driving long haul tractor-trailer rigs across the country untill his retirement in 2002. Even after his retirement, he drove part time for Buster Paving.

On Oct. 29, 2004, he married "The Love of His Life," Judy Isham Pippin.

He is survived by his wife, Judy; three sons, Wade and Gregory Winchester and Geoffrey Pippin, all of Greenville; daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Charles Rowe; seven grandchildren; his mother, Ruth Winchester of Perryton; sister Shirley Choate of Idabel, Okla.; and lots of family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Joyce McLeod; Infant son and one grandchild.

Visitition is from 6 t0 8 p.m. today at the Lynch Funeral Service Chapel. The funer is at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 10, 2005, at Woodside Cementery in Grand Saline. Lynch Funeral Services is in charge of the arrangements
