Mrs. Amelia Brown, age 82 years, widow of the late William Brown, died Sunday morning at the home of Mr. and Mrs. S. P. Wheeler, north of Valparaiso, in Liberty township.
The decedent was born in Germany on June 26, 1953 [sic, 1853], and came to America in 1882 to join her husband, who had preceded her to this country the year before.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Anna Wheeler; three grandchildren, Gordon R. Wheeler, Bennett Wheeler and Mrs. Russell Baker, all of Porter county.
Memorial services will be held at the Frank A. LePell & Son funeral home Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Friends desiring to view the body may call at the home of Gordon Wheeler, 2078 Napoleon street up, until the time of the funeral.
