Wife of Levi Forest. Lucy Ann or "Louisianna" Simmons is my great great grandmother and my great grandmother referred to her as Louisianna. She was the daughter of James A Simmons Sr., and Serilda (Unknown) of Bradshaw Township, Greene, Arkansas. Her mother Serilda died early apparently and her dad James A Simmons remarried to Emeline Heard Allen who's husband William H Emory had also died. Lucy Ann "Louisianna" Simmons had two sisters, Louisa E. and Mary Jane Simmons, a brother John Patrick Simmons, additionally two half brothers William James Simmons and James A. Simmons Jr. Lucy Ann"Louisianna" married Levi A Forrest in 1870 Charleston, Missouri had four daughters, Mellisa, Paralee L., and Nellie Virginia Forrest as well as a daughter who died an infant. She died in 1881 and Levi A. Forrest remarried to Rachael (Rodden) Copeland.
