OBITUARY: Waukesha Freeman "Nov. 7, 1907 "Elizabeth J. Oliver died October 24. She was born in Kendall, N. Y. April 1, 1819 and her maiden name was Morse. She married John Oliver in 1842 and settled in Waukesha County in 1847. Thereafter they resided on a farm at North Lisbon until 1870. In tat year they moved to Waukesha, where they secured a home on Barnard street (now Randall). This continued to be their home until Mr. Oliver's death, July 4, 1894. Being in poor health, Mrs. Oliver spent the remainder of her life with her daughters, Mrs. Jas. S. Dent, formerly of Waukesha, and Mrs. Brown of Templeton where she died. She was always cheerful and patiently waited for Jesus to call her home.
She was a member of the Congregational church in Waukesha. Deceased is survived by four sons and three daughters viz: M. H. W., H. F. M. And Dr. J. M. Oliver of Minnesota; Mrs. J. S. Dent, Prospect; Mrs. T. A. Brown, Templeton, and Mrs. D. Leisk, Milwaukee. Two brothers and a sister also survive, viz: F. M. Morse, Kendall, N. Y.; John M. Morse, New York City, and Mrs. S. Perry, Chicago.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Mr. Heywood of Sussex. Interment was at Nelson cemetery, Menomonee."
