ABRAM FORSHAY, 96, of Saddle River, formerly of Franklin Lakes, died Saturday. Before retiring in 1945, he owned Mowerson's General Store, Saddle River. The store was founded by Albert Mowereson (his first wife's father).
Mr. Forshay was the son of Abram and Agnes (Ramsey) Forshay.
He was a life member of the Saddle River fire department. He was a member of the Allendale Seniors and the Zion Lutheran Church of Saddle River.
Surviving is his wife, Anna Liske Forshay. His first wife, Elsie Mowerson Forshay, died in 1964.
Services will be at the Zion Lutheran Church, Saddle River, with burial in the church cemetery.
