She grew up in Charlestown and lived most of her adult life in Springfield.

Bebe was a true lover of country and western music and entertaining people. She sang with a genuine, unvarnished voice; straight from her heart. She also played the guitar and bass.

Bebe was a member of many bands in the area during her lifetime and was known to pick up a flat-top guitar just about anywhere and sing and play until her fingers bled.

She also enjoyed bingo, casinos, yard sales and most of all spending time with her family, always giving her children encouragement and unconditional love.

Bebe held several occupations throughout her lifetime, but her true calling was caring for the elderly. She most recently worked for the Council on Aging as a Senior Companion.

Other survivors include Rhondalee's husband Cowboy of Nashville, Tenn.; Rod's wife Robin of Charlestown; Rianna's husband Herb of Charlestown; Roxanne's husband, Carlos of Newtonville, Mass.; her youngest "child" Spanky, the blue-eyed beagle of Springfield; her more like a sister than a sister-in-law, Janet Bashaw of Springfield; and two young granddaughters, Genevieve Schroeder-Arce and Maya Villemaire, who meant the world to her. Bebe's wit and giving spirit will forever live in the hearts of all who knew her.
