Catherine Barner of Hollidaysburg RD 1, died at 2:30 a.m. yesterday, Aug. 26, 1973, at Hillview Nursing Home following an extended illness.

She was born Sept. 13, 1892, at Richfield, a daughter of George and Elizabeth (Stroup) Seaman and married D. C. Barner on Sept. 6, 1916, at Mifflintown.

Surviving are her husband, two sons, the Rev. Glenn A. of Warriors Mark and Wilmer B. of Hollidaysburg RD; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Barner was a member of the Evangelical Independent Methodist Church, Altoona, and its Loyalty Bible Class and the Grand International Auxiliary to the B. of I. E.

Friends will be received in the Liebegott Funeral Home, Duncansville, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.

BARNER - Services for Mrs. Catherine Barner of Hollidaysburg RD 1 will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday in the Liebegott Funeral Home, Duncansville, by the Rev. Dwight Steininger. Interment in Carson Valley Cemetery. Friends will be received in the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
