According to the 1900 Census, Elsie's parents, John and Polly, were living in the first district of Morgan County, Tennessee, at the time of her birth. Elsie's first husband was John Stanley whom she married in Johnson County, Arkansas, on March 14, 1916 (they later divorced). Her second husband was Enrico Rigo Baldinelli whom she married on July 14, 1923, in Franklin County, Arkansas. Elsie's three children were as follows: 1) James Corbett Stanley; 2) Clara Rena (Baldinelli) Smreker; and 3) Mary Elizabeth "Sweetie" (Baldinelli) McCleary. Elsie was a caregiver for my (fraternal) twin brother and me shortly after our birth while our mother was hospitalized. (The specific dates of Elsie's birth and death came from her daughter, "Sweetie.")
