HERBERT - At Long Branch, on Friday, November 1st, Mrs. Deborah Herbert, aged 88 years.

Mrs. Deborah Herbert, an old resident of Long Branch, died on Friday, aged 88 years. Notwithstanding her advanced age, she was in excellent health until about two months ago, when she began to fail. She took to her bed on Monday of last week.
She was born at Monmouth Beach and was the daughter of Benjamin Wardell. She was married in 1847. She was the last living member of her family and had lived in the house where she died for forty years. She had been a member of the Episcopal church at Long Branch for over 25 years. The funeral took place from the church on Monday afternoon and the interment was in the Friends' cemetery at Shrewsbury.
