VETERAN MASON AND CONTRACTOR AGED 80 DEAD
Dieudonnez LeBlanc, aged 80 years died this morning at his home 70 Edwards Street, following an illness of two weeks. He was born in St. Cypriene, PQ and had resided in this city 35 years. He was a stone mason and contractor until he retired from active business about 20 years ago.
He is survived by his wife Mrs. Rose Anna (LaFontaine) LeBlanc, seven daughters, Mrs. Aurora Nadeau, Mrs. Alice Therrien, Mrs. Rose Breault, Mrs. Alphonse Martin, Mrs. Philomine St. John, Miss Annie LeBlanc, and Miss. Lillian LeBlanc all of this city; three sons, William E., George W. and J. Mark LeBlanc all of this city, 34 grandchildren and four great grandchildren, four sisters, Mrs. Mary Gadwah of Montreal, Mrs. Dina Brown and Mrs. Ada Boulanger, both of Randolph, Mrs. Vitaline Aubert of St. Malo, P.Q., and three brothers; Irene of Tacoma, Washington and Joseph E. and Wilfred, both of Berlin, NH.
He was a member of the Sacred Heart League of St. Joseph Parish.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 9 a.m. from St. Joseph Church with a high mass of requiem. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
