Delila "Dee" Cable Cable
January 30, 1949 - September 29, 2008
Delila C. "Dee" Cable, age 59, of the Stecoah Community in Robbinsville, NC, went home to be with the Lord, Monday September 29, 2008 at UT Medical Center in Knoxville, TN.
A native of Graham County, she was the daughter of Beryl Holder Cable of the Stecoah Community, and the late Paul Cable.

Dee was retired from the United States Postal Service after 30 years of service. She was always active in the Community having served as Youth Sunday School teacher, Cub Scout Leader, and T-Ball Coach.
Dee wanted everyone to know, "I have had the most beautiful life that anyone could ever have. God has blessed me beyond compare. Remember, I am with Jesus and all our loved ones that have already gone home."
She is survived by her husband of almost 40 years, Leon Cable, of the home; her sons, Gregory Lee Cable and his wife Sarah of the Stecoah Community, and Michael Travis Cable and his wife Jennifer of Norfolk, VA; her brother, Billy "Con" Cable of Brevard, NC; her sister, Betty Ramer of Brevard, NC; and her grandchildren, Clay, Mikayla, Kaitlyn Dee, Zachary, and Natalie.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, October 3, 2008 at Stecoah Baptist Church. The Reverends G.D. Phillips, Mike Edwards, and Jimmy Millsaps will officiate.
Burial will follow at Jenkins Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday October 2, 2008 at Stecoah Baptist Church. Townson-Smith Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
