Mrs. E. E. Haynes, died of consumption, at her home in this city, Sunday September 10 at about 12 m. Mrs. Esther Elisibeth, wife of W.E. Haynes. Deceased was born in the town of Durango, Dubuque Co., Iowa, April 3, 1856 and was 43 years, 4 months and 7 days old at time of death. She leaves a husband and nine children, three of whom are by a former marriage, to mourn their loss.

Funeral services were conducted by the pastor of the Seventh Day Advent church of which the deceased was a member. Her remains were conveyed to Oakley Cemetery, where they were interred amid the sobs of sorrowing friends.
