Widow of Hoyt Green, she was born in Lavonia, Ga., a daughter of the late Elbert and Essie Haney Floyd. She was a retired dietician at Bryson Middle School and was a member of Washington Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Tracy Rainey, of Greenville; sons, Bobby Joe Green of Lexington, Tenn., Lamar Green of Marion, N.C., Wendell Green of Greenville and Dan F. Green of Simpsonville; sisters, Ruth Clark of Panama City, Fla., Josephine Moncrief of Lavonia, Ga., Ada Faye Smith of Simpsonville and Edna Walker of Florida; brothers, Armenus Floyd of Atlanta, Ga., and Herbert Floyd of Athens, Ga.; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by three brothers, T.C. Floyd, Euford Floyd and Terrell Floyd.
Funeral services will be at noon today, at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, with receiving of friends and family prior to the service, at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be at Greenville Memorial Gardens.
