Mrs. Nelson Knox
Emily Eversole was born July 7,1865, in Wabash township, the daughter of Joseph and Adaline Eversol, and died July 22, 1914. On November 11, 1896, she was married to Nelson Knox. The 49 years of her life were filled with usefulness, good deeds and high ideals. A friend of the helpless and the needy, she did well her part in the stern realities of life. Happy in the appreciation of her friends, she never forgot them. True to her ideals she laid the foundations and built thereon a home characterized by discipline, order and neatness. Long an invalid, her sufferings were borne uncomplainingly and courageously. She is survived by her husband, one daughter, Adaline, five sisters, one brother and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held Thursday last, conducted by Rev. D. D. Burt.
