Sandra, 59, died at home with her family after a 13-year battle with breast cancer.

She was the daughter of Stanley and Stella (Ziarko) Swierz. She was educated at St. Casimir and Immaculata Schools in Manchester, attended Rivier College in Nashua and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Southern New Hampshire University.

She worked as an office assistant at Woodsville High School. She also worked as a bookkeeper/receptionist at Manchester Court Club, as a bookkeeper for Sealpro Inc. in Manchester and later for National Credit Service in Bedford.

She leaves behind her husband of 40 years, Leo R. Desrochers of Manchester; two daughters, Lisa Moser of Merrimack and Lynn Harrington of Kennebunk, Maine; five grandchildren; and numerous cousins.

IN HER LIFE: Sandra was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother, and she will always be remembered for her indomitable spirit, soft, loving manner, and subtle wit. Her favorite pastimes were doing puzzles and collecting stuffed animals. There was never a FreeCell, Crossword or Sudoku she couldn't solve or a Beanie Baby she didn't love. Her loss will leave a void in the lives of all who knew her.
