He was the brother of Henry Grossman of Chicago, Illinois, and later Brooklyn, New York; Jacob Grossman, also of Scranton, Pennsylvania, and who ran a feed store in that city; David Grossman, a restauranteur who lived in California, and Kate Grossman Lehrman, of Chicago, Illinois, and later Los Angeles, California.
Morris lived to be 96 years old, having apparently lived for the last 83 years of his life in Scranton, in the Jewish area of the city known as The Flats.
He was the father, with his wife, Pauline (née Weissberger) Grossman (1879-1955), of:
