Margaret Marando
DUBOIS--Margaret J. Marando, 93, of 23 N. Jared St. died Friday.
She was born Nov. 18, 1900, in Indiana, Pa., a daughter of the late William M. and Nettie Carney Jobe. She was married to Thomas Marando Sr., who died in 1964.
She was a graduate of Indiana High School and the West Penn Hospital School of Nursing in Pittsburgh. In 1932, she graduated from Griffin Beauty School in Pittsburgh and opened a beauty shop on Brady Street in DuBois which she operated until 1964.
She is survived by Mrs. Harold (Kay) Roadarmel of Franklin; a step-daughter, Mrs. Joseph (Marie) Cammarita (sic) of DuBois, and David L. Roadarmel of DuBois, with whom she made her home for many years.
She was preceded in death by a brother Paul Jobe, and several step-children.
MARANDO, Margaret of 23 S. Jared St. DuBois, died May 27, 1994. Visitation and services were held for family members only, and burial followed at Morningside Cemetery. The Leo Nedza Funeral Home in DuBois was in charge of funeral arrangements.
