Funeral services were conducted Saturday at the Northside Church of Christ for Mrs. Ella Sue Berzett, 76, of 317 Thomas St., who died Friday in Athens-Limestone Hospital. Burl Grubb and Elam B. Kuykendall officiated at the services and McConnell-Service directed burial in the city cemetery.
Surviving Mrs. Berzett are four sons, Bill, Jack and Pete Berzett,
Athens, and Leon Berzett, Birmingham; three sisters, Mrs. Arty
Rogers, Mrs. Sallie Rucker, Mrs. Mattie Miller, all of Athens, and 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
