John Henson or Hewson enlisted in Co. B. of the 69th Pa Regt.(Philadelphia) at Philadelphia on 14th July 1861 and mustered in same day with rank of Sergt.No a lot known about his war service but he was discharged at the end of his term 1st Aug. 1864.
He died 24th Aug. 1893 and was buried in Hampton Cemetery.
Another source states year of death 1898.
